When It Rains, It Pours
And I'm not discussing the weather. It turns out that the only way that Valacor would release me from my collar was for me to find another Master. So I did, Jaxyral. And he stood beside me as Valacor released me and took me home, and recollared me and told me I belong to him now and he would protect me. He'd offered to protect me before, but I wasn't sure what to make of it.
I guess I should explain how it came about that I ended up wearing Jax's collar. Lets just say that I sorta uhmm, attempted to hire him. He is after all an assassin! He accepts commissions! I just wanted out of Val's collar so badly that I would have done anything to achieve it.
I don't think Valacor will ever speak to me again. That hurts a bit, but ... Perhaps it's better this way.
Tonight we went to put the fear of god into Revh, oh that's right, she attacked Nilok. Stupid bint. I hope they toss her into the ever-burning pit for her crimes in injuring him.
I had a dream last night. Well, lets just call it a dream that was a continuation of other dreams taht I had. In these dreams a tall Tier'dal male with long dark hair and a stunningly gorgeous koada'dal red-head teach me. They go by the names Darkshado and Leahjordon - one is a Necromancer the other a Conjuror and both are teaching me to control my abilities. Last night I asked them in my dreams about my family home and Leah smiled and said, are you ready to remember who you are....
And then I remembered. My family name. Cal'ana. Loosely translated to Nobility of the Night.
My father, Rien Cal'ana, our Matron Karannin Cal'ana.
The spirits broke through the barrier my father had erected to ensure we would not find our way home.
But i know where it is now. The question is just...when.
